Chief Technology Officer

Paul joined GalaxyEX in early 2020 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer.

From the moment he first touched a computer, Paul was destined for this career, quickly developing a passion for hardware, networking, and cryptography. After graduating in Computer Science from the University of Genoa in 2008, Paul began working as a researcher on military projects, focusing on high availability, self-healing networks, and cryptography. In this role, Paul deepened his understanding of distributed systems and conducted extensive experiments in cryptography.

Over the next few years, Paul mastered various programming languages and developed a real passion for distributed systems, high performance computing, and cloud platforms.

Paul developed an interest in finance and began developing financial applications in 2010. At the end of 2013, he founded Fincluster, where he serves as Chief Technology Officer. Fincluster has completed two rounds of funding and offers a cutting-edge, modern, and accessible web platform with customizable features. Fincluster develops comprehensive cloud-based financial applications for advisors, fund managers, and financial institutions, serving a diverse range of small and medium-sized enterprises in London, Milan, and Lugano.

Paul eventually joined GalaxyEX in 2020 as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for trading engine development, platform scalability, and high availability. Later that year, Paul became Chief Technology Officer.

As GalaxyEX's Chief Technology Officer, Paul's responsibilities include managing the development team, evaluating new technologies, and designing and developing the GalaxyEX backend platform. In addition, Paul serves as GalaxyEX's Lead Backend Developer.
